The IT Desktop Intern will work closely with the home department staff to gain valuable insights and learning experiences related to the inner workings of the team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain key skills and knowledge in the field of IT, while supporting Bryan Health's core values.
Key Responsibilities:
1. The intern will commit to the mission, vision, and beliefs of Bryan Health, consistently demonstrating our core values.
2. They will gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments.
3. The intern will complete assigned projects and tasks to meet required deadlines, tracking progress toward project completion as needed.
4. They will participate in meetings and conferences calls as assigned by the leader, communicating effectively with team members.
5. The intern will complete assigned tasks and duties as required for the completion of the internship, reporting delays or conflicts as they arise.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency required. Must have a 2nd year standing in an Associate's degree program or at least a Junior standing in a Bachelor's degree program. Previous experience in the assigned area is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance, knowledge of department specific tools, software, and/or hardware for the position, and knowledge of workplace safety related to assigned area. They will also have the ability to understand and communicate with a wide variety of people and personalities, maintain confidentiality relevant to sensitive information, and display interpersonal skills, integrity, organization, teamwork, and energy to complete assigned work.
