Job Summary

The Fiscal Intermediary position at Central New York Quest Incorporated plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of Self-Direction services for eligible individuals. This role involves close collaboration with clients, families, and the Self-Direction services team to provide quality assurance and administrative support.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Reimbursement Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of client reimbursements based on Medicaid and OPWDD guidelines, maintaining accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaboration with Team Members: Work closely with Brokers and Program Directors to ensure timely payments to clients and maintain high-quality service delivery.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate service, statistical, and financial records as required by the agency.
  • Client Support: Work with clients and brokers to initiate and complete the self-direction process, providing essential guidance on fiscal procedures and required waiver documentation.
  • Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison between clients, brokers, and OPWDD, ensuring seamless communication and cooperation.
  • Budget Monitoring: Monitor client budget utilization and prepare monthly financial statements, guaranteeing transparency and accountability.
  • Quality Assurance: Provide quality assurance and administrative support to clients and their families, working together to achieve exceptional results.
  • Compliance: Review Life Plans for compliance with agency and OPWDD standards, attending semi-annual Life Plan meetings to represent the Fiscal Intermediary.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with record keeping, gathering required documentation for services, and providing follow-up as needed, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Data Analysis: Prepare statistical data for review and analysis, informing decision-making processes within the organization.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all pertinent government and agency regulations and operating standards, staying up-to-date with relevant trainings and changes in the field.
Compensation and Benefits

This rewarding opportunity offers an estimated annual salary of $65,000 - $75,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, Central New York Quest Incorporated provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
