About the Role

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy team by assisting with various tasks, including medication management, inventory control, and patient communication. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with medication dispensing, verification, and labeling
  • Maintain accurate records of medications, dosages, and patient information
  • Conduct regular stock checks to ensure optimal inventory levels
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and care coordination
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or certification (e.g., PTCB)
  • 1+ year of experience in a pharmacy setting or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
