Job Summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our Vascular OR team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Certification and Licensure: Possess current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CORST, CST, or TSC) and maintain licensure as required by the state.
  • Certifications: Hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in a hospital setting, with a focus on CVOR and interventional vascular procedures.
  • Float Requirements: Willingness to float to other departments as required by the facility.
Work Environment

As a Surgical Technologist at Mercy Hospital Springfield, you will work in a fast-paced Vascular OR environment, assisting with a variety of surgical procedures, including open and endoscopic cases. You will be part of a collaborative team, working closely with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Requirements
  • Scrub Color: Black scrubs are required for all surgical procedures.
  • Dress Code: Professional attire is expected, with no jeans or unprofessional clothing allowed.
Additional Information
