Overview:

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our bakery department, you will be responsible for scaling, mixing, and baking various bakery goods. You will also maintain proper inventory levels of products, ensure the cleanliness and appearance of the bakery department meets standards, and consistently provide friendly, courteous service to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Bakery Operations: Scale, mix, and bake various bakery goods, including bread, rolls, cakes, and pastries.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of products, including ordering and receiving stock, and ensuring that products are properly stored and rotated.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure that products are properly labeled and dated.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
