SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $48,000, based on an hourly rate of $23.00 with potential for performance-based increases up to $26.77 per hour.
Job DescriptionThis role initiates and sustains relationships with community employers, markets Goodwill Employment Services, conducts job/task analysis, and maintains participant records. The successful candidate will also provide vocational counseling, placement planning, and implements employment plans while maintaining relationships with funding sources.
Responsibilities:- Complete intake interviews of individuals enrolled for services, including development of person-centered plans, database entry, and filing of required documentation.
- Assist clients in job search and employment acquisition activities, including creating, updating, and sending resumes to prospective employers and interview coaching.
- Follow up with and document all client/employer contacts to review interview outcomes; may attend interviews as necessary.
- Assess client proficiency on the job through observation and feedback from clients, employers, and third-party advocates.
- Provide task analysis, job coaching, and retention activities to strengthen client employment success.
- Initiate and document meetings with clients to evaluate/discuss progress and determine interventions as needed.
- Cultivate employer networks/relationships through cold calling/prospecting, studying the local labor market, resource sharing with the employment services team, and participation in community events.
- Meet with service funders to discuss referrals, assess the match between client and services available, provide input on referral acceptance/denial, and sign plans.
- Monitor and complete recordkeeping tasks in an accurate, detailed, and timely manner following agency protocols.
- A compassionate and patient approach to support vulnerable individuals in cultivating job skills and sustainable employment.

- The ability to support clients at job sites as needed, including some work outside traditional business hours.

- The ability to pass an established background screening process.
- A valid state-issued driver's license, good driving record, ability to provide own transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance.
