Supply Chain Career Development Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Career Development Specialist. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize our supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:- Logistics: Partner with our logistics team to improve efficiency and profitability by analyzing and optimizing our distribution processes.
- Procurement: Collaborate with our purchasing and procurement team to source, evaluate, and analyze potential vendors and suppliers.
- Operations and Process Improvement: Engage in various aspects of day-to-day central distribution operational activities, including utilizing our RF system, quality control/assurance, shipping, and delivery functions, with a focus on continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Some professional employment experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of CRM software.
- Strong organizational skills and a process-oriented approach toward uncovering opportunities and improving efficiency.
- Demonstrates a sense of focused and action-orientated approach as well as the ability to create a sense of urgency.
- Ability to concentrate your efforts on the most important priorities, moving quickly through issues, and driving for completion.
- Comfort and natural ability to find the optimal balance between speed, accuracy, and quality in the work you deliver.
- Professional, comfortable and articulate communication & presentation style.
- Strong listening skills with the ability to ask the right questions and know when more information is needed.
- Demonstrates a sense of honesty and empathy, with the ability to see the world through the customer's eyes.
- Independent, self-reliant, team member with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
