Ambercare – an Addus family company seeks a Service Coordinator for our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and supervising in-home care workers and clients in a geographic area.
About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills to join our team as a Service Coordinator. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling employees according to client care plans, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
- Processing patient authorizations, communicating with central admissions, and updating client records.
- Creating work schedules, managing changes due to client requests or absences, and providing coverage to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
- Onboarding and training new administrative staff members.
- Supervising direct service employees, holding them accountable for attendance, performance, and conduct.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in scheduling or healthcare.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Reliable transportation.

CompensationThe estimated annual salary for this role is $40,000-$60,000 based on location and industry standards.
