Medication Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate Medication Care Specialist to join our team at Cadence Senior Living at Mint Hill. As a Medication Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing direct care and support with daily medication administration.

Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents as prescribed by their healthcare providers
- Document resident medication records accurately and thoroughly
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their independence and overall well-being
- Participate in life enrichment activities and programs to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience, including giving medication in a community setting
- Current state Medication Tech license
- State CNA or PCA license (preferred)
- First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
