Job Overview

Rochester Electronics L is a leading original manufacturer stocking distributor in the semiconductor industry, providing over 70 leading manufacturers with a continuous source of critical semiconductors. As a licensed semiconductor manufacturer, we have manufactured over 20,000 device types and maintain an inventory of over 12 billion die, enabling us to produce over 70,000 device types.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and documenting manufacturing techniques, materials, tools, and processes related to back-end semiconductor assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish high-yielding, cost-effective processes based on product needs and customer requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of new developments in manufacturing and design technologies
  • Develop and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) for process optimization using statistical analysis software such as JUMP, Minitab, Excel Statistics, or equivalent
  • Evaluate and validate process and design alternatives based on product manufacturability
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing, preferably in the semiconductor industry
  • Working knowledge of MIL-PRF-38535, MIL-STD-883, ISO9001, and EIA/JEDEC standards
