Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (ORT) to join our team. As a key member of our surgical department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting the surgical team during procedures.

Estimated Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

This role requires a well-organized, energetic individual with excellent communication skills who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assisting surgeons and other medical staff during operations
  • Providing patient care and support before, during, and after surgery
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must:

  • Be a graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program or hold current LPN licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
  • Have at least one year of experience as a surgical technologist or scrub technician
  • Possess CPR certification and maintain active registration with the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
