Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement logical and physical database structures to meet business requirements.
  • Manage web operations for large-scale programs or projects, ensuring seamless performance and efficiency.
  • Review and improve existing database designs to enhance operating efficiency.
  • Perform data analysis, database design, development, and implementation activities.
  • Apply data processing design principles, techniques, and methods to analyze and translate user requirements.
  • Manage operating system components, including loading, executing, storing, and retrieving application programs/tables.
  • Manage DB2 and/or SQL Server databases, including designing back-up, recovery, and archiving strategies.
  • Design, monitor, and tune large, high-volume DB2 databases on the Z/OS platform.
