Pediatric Abdominal Transplant Surgical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Abdominal Transplant Surgical Director to join our team at Emory University. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our pediatric abdominal transplant program, providing strategic leadership and oversight of quality, safety, and clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and oversight of the pediatric abdominal transplant program
- Develop and implement strategies to improve quality and safety of care
- Collaborate with medical directors and other stakeholders to design and implement care delivery models
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Engage in research and education activities to advance the field of pediatric abdominal transplantation
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification in Surgery
- Completion of an ASTS fellowship in Abdominal Organ Transplantation
- Eligible for medical licensure in Georgia
- Meet eligibility requirements for credentialing as part of Children's professional staff
- National reputation of excellence in clinical care and/or education and research
- Administrative or leadership roles in a pediatric transplant setting
- Experience building and maintaining partnerships between various clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
