About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to infants in our Level III NICU.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care for infants
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Administer medications and complete treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Provide education and support to families on infant care, treatments, and home care
  • Participate in high-risk deliveries and assist with resuscitation efforts
  • Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff as necessary

Requirements:

  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
  • RNC-NIC certification preferred
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. Neonatal Education Program Certification preferred
