About the Role

The Nurse Specialist - Maternal and Neonatal Care at UCHealth is a high-quality patient care provider in women's and infants' services, including Mother/Baby and Labor and Delivery units.

About the Team

You will be working with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes, prioritizing wellness, and utilizing the nursing process in direct patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provides top-of-scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
  • Prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice
  • Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth
  • Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care

About the Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid RN license
  • Previous experience in women and infants nursing
  • Certifications in BLS and NRP within six months of hire
About the Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $50.00 per hour, based on relevant experience, and includes a Five-Year Incentive Bonus program, which recognizes employees' contributions to quality, patient experience, organizational growth, financial goals, and tenure with UCHealth.

About the Location

This role is based at the UChealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora location.
