About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist I to join our team at Wesley Chapel Hospital. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic testing and quality controls, preparing reagents, and reporting results according to established policies and procedures.
You will also be responsible for reviewing and overseeing moderate to high complexity testing, using and monitoring computer applications, maintaining equipment and supplies, and working independently and in a team. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities- Perform all diagnostic testing and quality controls
- Prepare reagents
- Report results according to established policies and procedures
- Review and oversee moderate to high complexity testing
- Use and monitor computer applications
- Maintain equipment and supplies
- Work independently and in a team
- Provide excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
- Preferred - ASCP certified
- Associate's degree
- Preferred - Bachelor's degree
- 1 year laboratory related experience
