**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Support Specialist to join our team at Meharry Medical College. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will play a vital role in providing support components for our clients' service plans.

**Daily Operations**

  • Assist with group therapy sessions, recreational activities, and occupational therapy sessions.
  • Escort clients on excursions, clinic visits, and appointments as assigned.
  • Monitor and supervise clients at all times during work shifts.

**Responsibilities**

  • Ensure clients understand program rules and procedures within 24 hours of arrival.
  • Respect and protect clients' rights and confidentiality.
  • Participate in client care conferences and staff meetings.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in behavior sciences or related field, and one year experience working with substance abuse clients.
  • Valid Tennessee For-Hire (F endorsement) driver's license.

**Estimated Salary:** $35,000 - $45,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.
