This per diem position involves treating residents with speech and language disorders, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of residents' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address residents' needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • New York State license to practice Speech Language Pathology
  • Knowledge of speech therapy principles and practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules, including evenings and weekends
