Job Overview
MEDICAL SERVICES OF AMERICA (MSA) Home Health & Hospice is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join their team in Boone, NC. This role will be responsible for the direct supervision of administrative office staff, management of office systems, and preparation and maintenance of electronic and paper employee personnel files.

Compensation Package
The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000, depending on experience. Additionally, MSA offers a comprehensive benefits package, including generous paid time off, medical/prescription, dental & vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, 401(k) retirement with a generous company match, and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities
This HR Coordinator will be responsible for:
  1. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date personnel records within the EMR system.
  2. Ensuring timely submission of required employee paperwork and payroll to Corporate Payroll/HR.
  3. Interviewing, hiring, cross-training, supervising, and evaluating administrative staff under the guidance and approval of the administrator.
  4. Collaborating with the Corporate Risk & Safety Director on employee and client safety, work-related injuries, safety policy & procedures, etc.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must have at least a 2-year degree in a related field, minimum one year of computer data entry experience, Microsoft Office software proficiency, typing speed of 45-60 words per minute, ability to work under deadline pressure, and minimum one-two years of office management/supervisory experience. Previous exposure to human resource functions is also desirable.
