At Copper Mountain Community College District, we are seeking a highly qualified part-time lecturer to teach sociology courses. As an Academic Facilitator, you will be responsible for conducting assigned classes and supporting the advancement of our institution's values.

We offer competitive compensation for this position. The hourly rate is based on your degree:

  • PhD/EdD: $71.33/hour - Lecture, $57.46/hour - Lab
  • MA/MS: $68.52/hour - Lecture, $55.20/hour - Lab

The successful candidate will have a Master's in sociology or a related field, or a Bachelor's in sociology and a Master's in anthropology, ethnic studies, social work, or psychology. Formal training and experience in online teaching are desirable.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, you will advise students enrolled in your classes on course content, grading criteria, major requirements, and career opportunities. You will also develop and implement instruction that meets course requirements and maintains academic and vocational program standards.
