Job Overview

Fathom Management LLC is seeking a highly skilled Spectral Scientist to join our team.

This is a full-time position that requires an active TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement software tools for improved data processing, calibration, target detection, identification, and characterization.
  • Research radiative transfer theory as it pertains to atmospheric correction of hyperspectral data.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the DoD and IC to ensure tools run correctly and effectively.
  • Present work in technical forums and analyst exchanges.
Requirements
  • BA/BS and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experienced in Python, C++, Matlab, or IDL.
  • An active TS/SCI Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with hyperspectral image processing techniques and calibration.
  • Experience processing, exploiting, and disseminating results of data analysis to customers.
