We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Labcorp in Manhattan, Kansas.

Job Summary: As a Phlebotomist at Labcorp, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and capillary techniques
  • Process blood samples for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
  • Enter patient information accurately and timely
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred
  • 6 months or more previous phlebotomist experience required
  • 1 year or more previous phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
