Medical Front Desk Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Medical Receptionist to join our team at Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, interacting with them and providers, building relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. They will also possess basic computer knowledge and be comfortable using Microsoft Office programs.
Key responsibilities include providing exceptional patient service, managing complex scheduling, registering patients, and providing administrative support. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, flexible, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure timely handling of patient matters.
With nearly 1,400 employees across 50 clinic locations, five state-licensed ambulatory surgery centers, and over 110 surgeons, doctors, and medical professionals, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment.
