Job Summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography procedures, Dexa scans, and planar X-rays on patients according to state, federal, and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mammographic procedures with a high standard of accuracy in positioning and select appropriate technical factors to ensure quality images.
  • Review each requisition and record prior to the exam to ensure all pertinent information is available.
  • Verify physician orders and ensure information for radiologists' interpretation is available.
  • Perform all computer functions properly to ensure proper patient charging and image interpretation.
  • Maintain open communication with site leadership and contribute to the team.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in an accredited RT Program or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a staff technologist in Mammography or relevant area.
  • NJ State RT license.
  • ARRT Mammography Certification.
  • Current BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 200 mammography exams performed within the past 24 months.
