Vital Care Substitute Nurse

Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Vital Care Substitute Nurse, you will provide direct healthcare to students, implement health programs, and promote a healthy school environment. You will also serve as a liaison between school personnel, families, and healthcare providers.
Requirements and Qualifications- A degree from an accredited professional nursing education program.
- A valid registered nurse (RN) license to practice professional nursing in Texas issued by the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
- CPR Certification.
- At least one year of experience as a registered nurse.
- Information technology skills necessary to perform essential job requirements.
- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with administrators, teachers, and other staff.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Certification to conduct vision, hearing, acanthosis, and spinal screenings; certified as an American Heart Association BLS Instructor.
