Snowmaking Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Snowmaking Specialist to join our team at Wintergreen Resort. This is a seasonal, full-time or part-time position that requires the ability to work in adverse weather conditions and lift over 80 pounds when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain snow guns, hoses, hydrants, and pumps during snowmaking operations.
• Work safely around heavy equipment, high air pressure hoses, and water pressure.
• Adjust and move snow guns to maintain efficiency.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
• Have a positive attitude towards guest service.
• Drive snowmobiles, UTVs, and trucks as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, compressor building, and other snowmakers via two-way radio.
• Must be at least 18 years old and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Estimated Salary Range: $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
