Position Overview:


Facilitate the smooth operation of food service establishments by preparing beverages, performing general tasks, managing cash transactions, and executing food preparation and cooking responsibilities essential for restaurant functionality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all policies set forth by CONCESSIONS INTERNATIONAL, LLC regarding cash management, operational standards, personal appearance, conduct, and interactions with guests and employees. Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant, which encompasses trash disposal, dishwashing, sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing tables, countertops, food preparation areas, display cases, and kitchen equipment.
  • Grasp brewing techniques and principles.
  • Understand the quality of coffee beans and water.
  • Possess the ability to craft and serve visually appealing beverages.
  • Oversee staff during shifts.
  • Execute opening duties for the restaurant, including food preparation, product stocking and rotation, and display setup.
  • Carry out closing responsibilities, which include product storage and cleaning of the restaurant and its equipment.
  • Perform food preparation tasks.
  • Cook items according to established recipes.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by fostering a welcoming atmosphere, greeting every customer, maintaining high standards, possessing solid product knowledge, and addressing all aspects of customer service.
  • Stay informed about all promotions and marketing efforts.
  • Verify cash registers and complete necessary documentation at the start and end of shifts.
  • Adhere to procedures for handling cash, credit, traveler's checks, and vouchers.
  • Process voids promptly and in accordance with established procedures.
  • Provide customers with product knowledge.
  • Communicate customer requests to management effectively.
  • Maintain an organized appearance of the register area and ensure supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Utilize information from Standard Operating Procedures manuals to comply with company policies.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Decision-Making Authority:


This position requires daily judgment in managing accounting transactions and providing information to management and external parties. For technical or policy-related decisions, consultation with the Accounts Payable Manager, General Manager, or corporate finance is necessary.

Education and Experience:


A high school diploma or equivalent (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.

Availability to work flexible hours is required.


Language Proficiency:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Capable of effectively communicating information in individual and small group settings to customers and coworkers. Proficiency in understanding both written and verbal English is essential.


Mathematical Skills:

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.


Reasoning Skills:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
