Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing and completing diagnostic CT examinations accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Select and operate the CT scanner, pressure injector, and other equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Assist in the administration of contrast media and other related procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Document all pertinent clinical information and obtain informed consent from patients.
  • Remain up-to-date with changes in the field by attending courses or seminars as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Vocational/Technical education in Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid ARRT (R) certification and ARRT (CT) certification.
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years current/recent experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
