Salary

We offer a competitive salary in the range of 50,000-75,000 dollars per year, with additional commissions for meeting sales targets. This makes our total compensation package highly attractive to sales professionals who are looking to advance their careers.

Job Description

As a Sales Consultant at General Beverage, you will be responsible for selling and promoting our Prestige Wine products to your assigned territory of accounts. You will provide exceptional service to your customers to maximize territory growth measured against market potential. You will communicate and execute the brand plans of our supplier partners and help attain collective sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage with assigned customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations through in-depth presentations which convert product features to benefits.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall revenue growth of the organization.
  • Continuously stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to effectively position our offerings in the market.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and documentation as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Above average knowledge of wine.
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional work experience.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record, as well as a working vehicle.
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish enduring customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate product features and benefits effectively.
  • A drive to negotiate and close sales deals.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of the beverage industry and understanding of market trends and customer motivations is a plus.
