Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and solutions-oriented NPI Deployment Engineer to contribute to delivering transformational innovation to the business.

This role is a key part of a technical team, with the following responsibilities:

  • Participate in strategic Deployment Readiness projects with significant technical depth and breadth;
  • Act as the subject matter expert for deploying, integrating, optimizing, and implementing new Robotics solutions during pre-GA phases;
  • Provide iterative feedback on Work Instructions and execution plans to achieve consistent outputs;
  • Maintain and follow-up on action plan(s);
  • Manage large third-party installation teams during the execution of Alpha and Beta deployments;
  • Resolve field issues and ensure root causes are addressed;
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards;
  • Drive alignment of New Product Introduction strategy with internal stakeholders and external partners;
  • Lead field trials, contribute to deployment guidelines and test plans/procedures in order to get Amazon Robotics solutions certified and deployed;
  • Traveling requirement for this role is up to 75%.

About the Role

This is a technical role that requires a strong understanding of automated solutions, robotics, and deployment readiness. The ideal candidate will have experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure, as well as programming with modern languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.

What You'll Do

As a NPI Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in strategic Deployment Readiness projects;
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for deploying, integrating, optimizing, and implementing new Robotics solutions;
  • Providing iterative feedback on Work Instructions and execution plans;
  • Maintaining and following up on action plan(s);

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure;
  • Programming experience with modern languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust;
  • Experience with Linux/Unix;
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes;
  • Experience with distributed systems at scale.
