Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at JETSEAL Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing, designing, drafting, testing, and delivering high-quality aerospace parts and tooling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers to continually improve the manufacturing process by analyzing problems and developing improvements.
  • Partner with the Tool and Die Machine shop to address and resolve outcome variations or design-related issues during manufacturing.
  • Develop engineering and manufacturing specifications and drawings using technical writing skills.
  • Assist manufacturing leadership with engineering needs.
  • Drafting using PTC Creo and Onshape software.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of related engineering experience, with aerospace experience preferred but not required.
  • FEA experience preferable.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS-Office.
  • Prior drafting and modeling experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Previous experience with aerospace metals or sheet metal a plus.
  • Previous experience with aerospace quality systems and controls.
  • Previous experience with process investigation, characterizations, and optimization.
  • Previous exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles.
