About the Role

We are seeking a skilled RN Caregiver Health Specialist to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As an integral part of our Caregiver Health Services, you will play a vital role in promoting optimal health and well-being among our caregivers.

Job Summary

The RN Caregiver Health Specialist is responsible for providing clinical caregiver health services, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements, and participating as an integral team member with colleagues from various departments. Your duties will include pre-employment health screens, vaccinations, training and education, surveillance management, and supporting caregivers within the scope of Caregiver Health Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-employment health screens and vaccinations for new hires
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure caregivers' safety and well-being
  • Manage surveillance and monitoring systems to identify potential health risks
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality occupational and environmental health services
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire
  • At least 1 year of experience as an RN in an acute hospital setting or similar nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • 6 months of experience in an Employee/Occupational Health setting
  • 6 months of experience working with computer databases and systems, such as Microsoft Office, Excel, OHM
