Autism Specialist for Community Programs

The Arc of Opportunity is a leading organization in North Central MA, dedicated to providing exceptional support services to individuals with disabilities and their families.
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Autism Specialist to join our team as a BCBA Behavior Clinician. This role will be responsible for conducting behavior assessments, developing and implementing behavior support plans, and providing training to staff and caregivers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior plans, medication treatment plans, and restrictive practices.
- Provide input and assist in determining intake, transfer, and discharge decisions regarding individuals utilizing program/services.
- Train and support staff, caregivers, and family members.
- Maintain up-to-date individual case notes in the Electronic Health Record related to clinical goals and progress.
- Assist in implementing Positive Behavioral Supports framework and participate as an active PBS trainer for the agency.
- Participate and present information at Human Rights Committee, Clinical Meetings, and PBS Leadership meetings, and other committees/teams as required.
- Maintain a clinical support presence throughout community and home-based programs.
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- A Master's degree and BCBA certification.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, autism, and brain injury preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and convey clear direction, desired results, and vision to staff, individuals, and families served.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and locations, including group homes, day programs, and main office building.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Computer literacy and experience with program-related software.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
