Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Treasury Associate to join our team at EG America. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our senior treasury analysts and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Backup Senior Treasury Analyst with daily cash needs, including preparation of current/prior day bank balances, entering wire & ACH payments, and submitting investments.
  • Track, research, and resolve all store-related cash inquiries, including cash & coin issues, password resets, armored courier issues, returned checks, etc.
  • Download monthly bank and analysis statements.
  • Review and analyze monthly bank fees.
  • Sort incoming mail and maintain department email inbox.
  • Complete daily remote check deposits and scans.
  • Assist with completing credit applications.
  • Handle ad hoc projects in line with departmental objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum Education: High School or GED.
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Hospitality.
  • Minimum Experience: 0-2 years of work experience in Retail, Banking, or Hospitality.
  • Preferred Experience: Experience with online banking portals; intermediate knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups.
Working Relationships

This role will report to a Senior Manager but will assist Senior Treasury Analyst and VP-Accounting as needed. The Treasury Associate will also work closely with our Retail Stores, Store Operations, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Legal, external banking partners, armored couriers, and other areas as necessary.
