Overview

We are seeking a part-time college shuttle driver to join our team at Mass Park, Inc. in Smithfield, RI.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $18.00, with opportunities for overtime pay and gratuities for charter drivers. Additionally, our company offers a range of benefits, including a valid medical card and background checks.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patrons in a polite manner and assist them in any way possible.
  • Safely transport customers to various destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and signs.
  • Open and close doors for patrons, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues through radio contact and other means.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to meet federal and company safety requirements.
  • Record passenger counts and trip times to ensure efficient operations.
  • Complete necessary paperwork involved in daily operations.
  • Assist with equipment setup and breakdown, including signs and cones.
  • Sweep shuttles to maintain cleanliness and remove debris.
  • Report mechanical problems with shuttles to management.
  • Comply with company procedures for shuttle operations.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid RI Chauffer license or CDL with passenger endorsement.
  • Customer service experience is highly desirable.
  • Must be over 20 years old.
