Territory Manager

Staff My Agency is seeking a highly skilled Territory Manager to oversee our Houston and Sugarland locations.
This role involves strategic planning, training, and support for our team members to help them succeed and meet their goals.
Territory Manager responsibilities include identifying opportunities for new accounts, developing a territory-wide strategy for selling insurance, creating sales goals, following up with clients, and recruiting and training team members to sell insurance products.
This is an in-office position, requiring the ability to commute to our local offices in Sugarland and Houston. This is not a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with team members to provide guidance on sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and customer engagement techniques.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills of our team members.
- Monitor the performance of team members, analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions when necessary to ensure targets are met.
- Develop strategic plans tailored to the territory's unique market conditions, setting sales goals, forecasting future performance, and creating action plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with various departments, such as marketing, underwriting, and customer service, to align local efforts with broader company objectives.
- Build strong relationships with customers, engaging directly with key clients or community leaders to promote our services and enhance brand visibility.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is typically required.
- Previous experience in sales management or insurance is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Growth potential and opportunity for advancement within the office.
- Insurance sales experience, property & casualty, and life & health licenses are preferred.
- Sales experience is preferred.
