Job Summary:

At Baptist Memorial Health Care, we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Clinical Nurse Intern to join our team at North Mississippi Oxford Hospital. About the Role:

The Clinical Nurse Intern will work under the supervision of experienced registered nurses to provide direct patient care and assist with various tasks and responsibilities. This role offers a unique chance to learn from seasoned professionals, develop clinical knowledge and skills, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist registered nurses in providing direct patient care, including assessing patients, developing care plans, and implementing interventions
  • Participate in ongoing educational activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, working closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient outcomes
  • Develop strong communication and interpersonal skills, interacting effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote best practices and patient safety

Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or be nearing graduation. A valid BLS certification is also required within 14 days of hire date. Computer literacy and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.
