Eating Disorder Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Eating Disorder Dietitian to join our team at Body Expressions, an outpatient multiservice health care wellness center in Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and monitoring/evaluation services to clients struggling with eating disorders and body image concerns.
Responsibilities:
* Provide in-person and telehealth services to clients as scheduled, ensuring timely completion of session notes and maintaining accurate client records.
* Conduct thorough nutritional assessments, develop personalized meal plans, and educate clients on healthy eating habits to support their recovery journey.
* Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal treatment outcomes for clients.
* Communicate effectively with clients' medical teams to monitor progress and adjust nutrition care plans as needed.
Requirements:
* Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in dietetics or related field;
* Active, unrestricted license in Oregon and/or Washington;
* Proficiency in the nutrition care process;
* Clinical dietetic experience; and
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior experience in a private practice setting;
* At least three years' experience post-unrestricted licensure;
* Familiarity with non-diet and Health at Every Size approaches to body/food/weight issues;
* Experience working with diverse populations and addressing complex trauma-related concerns.
Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000-$90,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include supervision and monthly case consultation, spacious treatment rooms, reception and scheduling services, and accounts management and insurance billing support.
