Responsibilities include:
- Providing tax compliance and consulting services to partnerships for a variety of clients from Fortune 100 companies to mid-market businesses.
- Consulting on transaction calculations, partner economics, tax distributions, and other events throughout the partnership lifecycle.
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on high-quality partnership consulting and reporting, including technology design and industry knowledge.
- Leading, counseling, and training teams of tax professionals on process and tax technical; managing a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope and acting as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
- Overseeing risk and performance of engagements, which may include project budgets, resource planning, status, and financial metrics.
- Keeping up to date on current tax practices, new technologies, and tools used in client service delivery and participating in technology or process development initiatives; participating in and contributing to market and business activities external to the firm.
- Acting with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in an accounting firm focused on partnership federal and state tax compliance.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Licensed CPA, Enrolled Agent, or J.D./LL.M., in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing.
- Demonstrated quality service mindset, strong technical aptitude, and critical thinking skills; experience with MS Office applications and third-party tax reporting software programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate complex information.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
