At Baystate Health, we are seeking a skilled Pediatric Specialty Center Nurse to join our team. As a Pediatric Specialty Center Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide independent quality triage and patient care utilizing strong assessment skills, point of care testing, and quality assurance checks.
  • Establish a plan of care, set priorities, and implement the plan of care with the patient and family.
  • Triage and coordinate patient care.
  • Promote health and wellness for individuals and groups of patients.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to acute and chronic disease management.
  • Demonstrate respect and advocate for the patient's rights, values, and belief systems.
  • Develop patient trust and engage the patient and family in care and treatment.
Requirements:
  • Massachusetts license as an RN and BLS CPR certified.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience.
  • Experience in specialty, such as pediatrics, preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks/priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have competency in delivering exceptional nursing care and have proven success in partnering with both physicians and staff.
