Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department at Sentara CarePlex Hospital. The RN will assess, diagnose, and treat patients, as well as develop and implement individualized care plans. The RN will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose patients in the Emergency Department
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Provide education to patients and families on health and wellness

Requirements:
  • BSN or MSN preferred
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ACLS and PALS certification within 1 year of hire
