School Transportation Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled School Transportation Coordinator to oversee the safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating daily transportation schedules and routes, collaborating with school administrators to address student transportation needs, and ensuring compliance with state and district transportation policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective transportation schedules and routes to ensure timely and safe transportation of students
- Collaborate with school administrators to address student transportation needs and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with state and district transportation policies and regulations
- Coordinate and supervise school bus drivers and monitors to ensure the highest level of service
- Monitor fleet maintenance and repair activities to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
- Foster positive relationships with parents and community stakeholders to build trust and confidence in our transportation services
- Maintain accurate transportation records and documentation to ensure compliance and accountability
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Transportation, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation or a related field
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
