Job Overview

Nordic Ware is a leading manufacturer of high-quality kitchenware products, and we're seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician I to join our team.

As a Quality Assurance Technician I, you will be responsible for performing and documenting visual, dimensional, and functional inspections across multiple departments within Nordic Ware. You will utilize various hand tools and measurement devices to accurately inspect production processes and ensure compliance with all manufacturing and quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document inspections to ensure high-quality products
  • Utilize hand tools and measurement devices to inspect production processes
  • Comply with all manufacturing and quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements
  • Recommend changes to policies and procedures
  • Assist in other Quality Assurance processes

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Some experience in manufacturing is great, but related work experience is also considered
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic math skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a drive to learn new information and skills
  • Ability to read blueprints preferred
  • Working knowledge of metrology and use of hand tools preferred
