Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventive and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment within our plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including greasing and lubricating equipment.
  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs as necessary.
  • Participate in breakdown/teardown of production lines as required for new installations or maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Instrumentation Technicians for comprehensive plant maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Prior industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to undergo an 8,000-hour company-funded apprenticeship program.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with lubrication, welding & cutting, piping, mechanical power transmission, and rigging.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical equipment systems and wiring.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
