Diagnostic Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team at Novant Health Harbor Pointe OBGYN. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.
About the Role
In this role, you will work closely with radiologists to obtain accurate images and provide a positive patient experience. You will be part of a dynamic team that values quality care and service in every dimension, every time.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Performing high-quality ultrasound exams using various types of x-ray equipment
- Providing exceptional patient care and communication
- Working effectively with radiologists to obtain accurate images
- Maintaining a safe patient environment driven by the principles of "First Do No Harm"
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Graduation from an AMA-approved RT program
- One year of experience in Sonography, preferred
- ARRT and/or ARDMS certified or Board eligible
- Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
