Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Telemetry unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex cardiac conditions. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with a variety of cardiac diagnoses, including COPD, CHF, and A Fib.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including ECGs and cardiac rhythms.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Participate in code blue situations and provide emergency care as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Current IL RN license
  • BSN preferred, ADN acceptable with agreement for nurses with less than 12 months of experience to enroll in BSN completion program
  • 1 year minimum of Telemetry or Medical/Surgical nursing experience
  • Current AHA CPR and ACLS certification
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts
