The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. As a member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our nation's veterans.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary range of $49,594 - $90,263 per year. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients with various physical and/or behavioral problems, working closely with the RN and/or MD/DO to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing basic nursing care to patients, including vital signs, wound care, and medication administration
  • Assisting with minor procedures, such as obtaining and arranging necessary equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring comfort and privacy
  • Documenting patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication

To qualify for this position, applicants must possess a current LPN/LVN license, at least one year of experience in a hospital or outpatient setting, and proficiency in written and spoken English.
