Paralegal Job Description

MCI, a leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal with ValorVIP, you will play a critical role in supporting the legal team by managing case files, conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and ensuring all filings and paperwork are processed efficiently.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct Legal Research: Gather relevant information from various resources, including statutes, case law, legal articles, and regulations.
  • Draft Legal Documents: Prepare contracts, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs, and assist in the preparation of documents for court filings.
  • Manage Case Files: Organize and maintain case files, manage deadlines, and keep track of ongoing legal proceedings, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communicate with Clients: Obtain information, provide updates on case status, and assist with answering routine questions.
  • Assist Attorneys: Prepare for court appearances and trials, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
  • Perform Administrative Duties: Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and manage correspondence.


Candidate Qualifications:

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals who possess the following qualities:




  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; Paralegal certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and document management systems.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with clients and court personnel.
  • Ability to review and organize detailed documents with accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and ethical conduct.
