About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work as a Behavioral Health Specialist, specializing in psychiatric medical care for adolescents. You will collaborate with psychiatric physicians to provide high-quality patient care, conduct admitting evaluations, and make treatment recommendations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with psychiatric physicians to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct thorough evaluating new patients, including psychiatric and medical assessments
- Make appropriate treatment recommendations and orders based on initial evaluations
- Monitor patients' psychiatric and medical status, providing timely interventions and communication with families
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in patients' medical records
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A PhD or Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/APRN in Ohio, or willingness to obtain
- Board Certification through ANCC as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health
- A current National DEA certificate
