The Otesaga Resort Hotel is seeking an experienced Banquet Houseman to join our team.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity offers a unique blend of event management, hospitality, and customer service skills. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of banquets, conferences, and other events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up banquet rooms according to specifications, including drinks, snacks, and other specified items.
- Adjust banquet room layouts during service based on guest requests.
- Reset rooms to their original state after events conclude.
- Provide exceptional guest service by setting up AV equipment, transporting tables and equipment, and fulfilling client or management requests.
- Train and educate new team members on our processes and policies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to work nights, weekends & holidays as required.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Basic math and language skills.
- Outstanding guest service skills.
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
